Your GOTR Journey

How did you first get involved with Girls on the Run? What inspired you to join the board? I am passionate about changing lives through sport.

What part of the Girls on the Run mission resonates with you the most and why?  I definitely connect with the idea of equipping girls with tools they will use for life. Lessons on self-worth and perseverance go far beyond the program and will take them far in life.

What is one of your favorite GOTR moments or memories? Seeing girls in action is so rewarding and incredible to witness.

When you're not working or volunteering, what's a favorite hobby or way you like to spend your time? Season tickets to UT football and baseball! I'm also passionate about serving and giving back to the Knoxville community.

What’s a piece of advice you would give to your younger self? Care less about what other people think and pray without ceasing!
